Hi Everyone,
Well its been a while since a post has gone up – for that I apologise, but never fear! We have been BUSY setting up lots of
workshops, seminars and webinars to help education everyone about all aspects of starting, running and promoting a VA business.
Today I wanted to talk about a EASY and COST FREE task you can start doing right to help your business grow….and that’s build a list!
I have spoken about this before, and I am sure some of you will have heard me say it but just covering it here once again. Today is the day that you are going to start building your list of contacts.
So I want you to sit down and start a spreadsheet (if you don’t have specific CRM software that you use) and start listing down:
- Your Existing Clients
- Any warm leads that have not yet converted into clients (aka people who have enquired about your services)
- Your friends
- Your family members
- Your ex employers (if you left on good terms)
- Friends of Friends you have met more than once
- People you have met at any networking events
- Your hairdresser, mechanic, local post office master, or anyone you have a relationship with
Get this list together with as much info as you can – email at the LEAST and after you have done that, take a step back and look at your marketing database that you can start promoting your services to.
Chances are MOST people on that list will not hire you (how many of your friends need a VA, probably not that many), but that doesn’t mean they don’t know someone who could use your services!
It’s time to train you brain to think about your business and it’s growth – grow this list weekly and it will be one of the best habits you can have!
If you need a template to help you get started, send me a private message on Facebook and I will email something over.
Cheers
